SCCSD alums are invited to dust off their dresses and tuxes for Rewrite the Night
The Sioux City Public Schools Foundation invites the class of 2020 to celebrate prom during “Rewrite the Night” on Saturday, June 28, 2025, starting at 7:00 pm at Anthem in the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sioux City. The unforgettable event will provide an opportunity for 2020 alumni of East High School, North High School, and West High School to experience the fun of prom, a milestone that was cancelled in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Rewrite the Night” will feature a live band, dancing, a cash bar, and a photo booth. Alumni can attend solo or bring a date. Tickets are $20 each, which includes a drink ticket.
“Prom is such a special milestone, and it’s important to give the class of 2020 the celebration they missed out on,” says Karen Harrison, Development Director for the Sioux City Public Schools Foundation. “This night is about providing Sioux City alums with an evening of connections, fun, and memories they missed out on due to a worldwide pandemic. We are excited to give the class of 2020 an opportunity to rewrite prom.”
