In addition, the North High student council has been implemental in the preparation, coordination, and execution of many local donations and fundraisers. In recent years student councils has:

  • Prepared and donated goodie bags to the June E. Nysen Cancer Center;

  • Volunteered at the “Red Out” for the American Heart Association;

  • Coordinated blood drives with LifeServe;

  • Donated to the Festival of Trees;

  • Made tie blankets for the Ronald McDonald House;

  • Raised money by participating in the Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon; and

  • Held a Mental Health Conference for students.
