Now Open: Registration for Summer Traffic Education
This summer, the Sioux City Community School District (SCCSD) will offer one session of traffic education classes at each of the three High Schools. Classes will start on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, and run for five weeks – finishing on Friday, July 2, 2021.
Classes and driving sessions will be held Monday through Friday to ensure we end in five weeks. Class times and drive sessions will be assigned after registrations are completed. (Dates/times are subject to change due to weather or COVID-19 regulations.)
Registration for Summer Traffic Education will begin on Monday, March 15 at 6 pm. The deadline to register is Friday, April 2. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited to 48 registrants per class and the registration is subject to close earlier if classes fill.
The cost for the class is $385. School waivers are accepted, which can reduce the fee to $175 or free. Students can only sign up at one school for one session.
